Steven B. Adler is Director of IBM's Data Governance Solutions and a recognized authority and innovator on data governance, security, privacy, systemic risk management, and business process transformation. Mr. Adler is Chairman of the IBM Data Governance Council, an international leadership group of fifty "C level" executives working together to design and evaluate comprehensive data governance solutions. He is leading the XBRL Risk Taxonomy standards initiative and advises governments and regulatory authorities on data governance and systemic risk. Mr. Adler is also a visiting lecturer at the Bucerius Law School, Hamburg Germany. Mr. Adler developed the patented Enterprise Privacy Architecture and invented the world's first Internet Insurance program. He is frequently quoted in European and American press articles, trade journals, magazines and newspapers. Jon Asprey has over 12 years experience in information management and data analysis, where he has worked for both global consultancies and software vendors with many international clients. Initially working within direct marketing operations, assisting clients to build a single customer view and optimise customer analytics, Jon developed a detailed understanding of managing disparate data systems. Nadim Bhatti has over 17 years experience in the IT Industry mostly spent in the financial services sector. He has worked for 13 years in the Data Integration and Reference Data space, during which time he has been Project Lead on many large systems integration projects. He is the Data Solutions Architect and Build Manager for Asset Management's Enterprise Global Data Hub. He has more recently been co-leading the implementation of the Deutsche Asset Management MDM strategy and Data Reference Architecture framework using a SOA framework. Rob has more than 14 years of data management experience, working in both business and IT roles to develop solutions that provide better quality, confidence in, and usability of critical enterprise data. Tom Kennedy is Founder, Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of BackOffice Associates, LLC and Founder of CranSoft. Mr. Kennedy has been designing and building technology since 1978. Mr. Kennedy has developed groundbreaking 4th Generation Languages throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including full suites of fully integrated financial and accounting applications built using his 4th generation languages, to emerging technologies of engines that directly render web pages including fully integrated web-based applications for Fortune 100 Companies using this engine. Dr. Madassar Manzoo specialises in the design, development and effective use of data warehousing (DW) and business intelligence (BI). He has over 20 years experience in this role during which time he has worked on over 50 major assignments around the world with organisation such as Abbey, Arcadia, HBOS, John Lewis and Zurich in the UK; Bank of America and Prudential in the USA; Allstate and Douglas Parfumeries in Germany; and Banco Santander in Spain. Thore Thomassen has worked with IT solutions for the financial sector as a developer, project manager and architect since 1989. He started in Storebrand in 1997 and has been one of the main architects behind Storebrands SOA initiative. He has a Bsc in Computer Science from Heriot Watt in Scotland. Currently he is a working with IT strategy and is the main architect for the customer area within Storebrand. He has been one of the main driving forces behind establishing a common Nordic customer solution for Storebrand, based on IBMs MDM package.
