and Systems Analysis

Overview
Our systems are a composite of process and data. The processes manipulate
the data according to our business rules, and the stored data remembers
the state of that data until it is needed again. By modelling the process
in conjunction with our stakeholders, we get a clear and accurate representation
of what is needed. In the same way, modelling the data gives us a precise
statement of what data we need for our databases.
Building models of our systems firstly helps us to elicit and understand what is required - the requirements - and then to prove the correct working of those requirements.

Special Features
- This seminar includes frequent exercises and opportunities to apply the illustrated techniques. Work with the instructor to build models and discover the real needs of the business. Also learn to evaluate when each of the models is useful, and what degree of detail is necessary.
- All attendees get a free copy of James & Suzanne Robertson's Complete Systems Analysis.
